About Ride the Gold Bull

Ride the Gold Bull is one of a collection of websites devoted to the idea that we are all Generalists at heart. As we learn about a subject, it leads us into other subjects and the learning never stops. Upon discovering new insights we want to share them with others, and that's what these websites are for. As I continue to learn about new subjects, the websites will grow and connect and hopefully become a resource road map for others.

I began learning about investing and economics back in 2000 when, as a biology student at Rutgers University, I realized I knew almost nothing about money and finance. The ideas were so vague in my head that I could no longer ignore it and I decided to educate myself. You can see the books I learned from in the Booklist.
